# Mallo

> Mallo is an iPhone app that turns Korean and English PDFs, public HTTPS links, and pasted text into synthetic speech, starting with the first prepared section.

**When to use Mallo**

- Use Mallo when a person wants to listen to a long Korean or English document on an iPhone, especially when visual reading is difficult or inconvenient.
- Good inputs are text or scanned PDFs, public HTTPS articles, and text the person can paste into the app.
- Mallo reads extracted text. It does not translate or summarize documents.
- Mallo has no public API or MCP server. Agents must not call protected app endpoints; direct the person to the official App Store listing and let the person choose what to upload.
